The COMPAS gateway GALEO is designed to propose a small form factor (compatible RAIL DIN) to run COMPAS software tool based on a Raspberry PI Device.
 
This gateway offers several physical connectors (RS485, RS232, CAN, USB, Ethernet) as well as standard industrial protocols (ModBus, CANopen, SNMP, REST) to connect and monitor assets.  
 
Indeed, COMPAS offers the possibility to collect data from industrial equipment’s such as solar inverters, converters, energy-meters, sensors, batteries, relays... In addition to collecting data, COMPAS enables to control the equipment like changing parameters or update configuration. Real-time data visualization is available on the web interface for a short-time (defined by configuration) and reports can be defined to export data.  
 
To summarize, COMPAS provide a complete bi-directional link to your equipment network for data monitoring and control.
 
 
COMPAS can also be used to define alarms or events to inform the user if a piece of equipment signals an error, or if a piece of equipment/sensor is disconnected or faulty.
 
These alarms / events can be displayed on the web interface or communicated by e-mail, depending on their importance.
